Basic Definitions
This Terms of Use Agreement ("Agreement") sets forth the legally binding terms for your use of the IRIS Services. You are only authorized to use the IRIS Services (regardless of whether your access or use is intended) if you agree to abide by all applicable laws and to this Agreement. Please read this Agreement carefully before using this website. By registering on, accessing, browsing, downloading or using the IRIS site for any general purpose or for the specific purpose of availing any Service, you agree, automatically and immediately to be bound by this Agreement as well as by any the service specific terms and conditions applicable to each Service, whether you are a "Visitor" (which means that you simply browse the IRIS site) or you are a "Member" (which means that you have registered with IRIS). The term "User" refers to a Visitor or a Member. Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, you may print these terms of use or save a copy of these terms of service for your own personal and non-commercial use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you may not access, browse or use the IRIS site and immediately terminate your availing of the The term 'authorized user' would include any person, whether an individual or a legal entity who has subscribed to the services of IRIS, and to whom the access is restricted by the use of a sign in user name and a password. The user name and password are either allotted by IRIS or chosen by the user or agreed upon by IRIS. Therefore only the authorized user has the right to access the services offered by IRIS. IRIS will not be responsible for any costs, consequences or damages caused to any persons or entities due to any unauthorized use of the services offered by IRIS, including access of the said services by an unauthorized user using the user name and password of an authorized user, regardless of whether such unauthorized user is known to the authorized user.
The terms 'service' or 'services' would mean to include the interactive online solutions and information services offered by IRIS on the internet/mobile through which the user may access information carried by IRIS in the database maintained by it.
You agree not to copy, sell, resell, duplicate any part of IRIS's services and solutions for commercial purposes. These Terms of Service sets out the legally binding terms of your use of IRIS and your membership in IRIS and may be modified by IRIS at any time and without prior notice, such modifications to be effective upon posting by IRIS on the website. Your continued access or use of the Site and/or the Services after the Terms of Services have been revised constitutes your express consent to the modified Terms of Services. In the event of any inconsistency between our Privacy Policy and these Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail. If you do not agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement, you may not use nor access our services.
Eligibility
IRIS services are available to all individuals who have at least completed high school. Individuals who are currently in high school or below may access and use the site, they shall do so only with the involvement and guidance of their parents and or legal guardians. In all such instances their parents and or legal guardians will be held responsible for all the terms of this agreement. By registering with IRIS you consent to the use of: (i) electronic means to complete the Terms and to provide you with any notices given pursuant to the Terms; and (ii) electronic records to store information related to the Terms or your use of the Services. IRIS has the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your use of IRIS services and refuse any and all current or future use of all or any portion of IRIS's services.
Registration of a candidate is only considered if and only if the candidate is enrolled in at least one or more events or workshops
User Responsibilities
All users are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration and throughout their participation in IRIS. Users agree not to impersonate any individual or entity, provide false information, or misrepresent their affiliation with any organization.
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner during all IRIS events, workshops, online forums, and communications. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive may result in immediate removal from the event or platform without refund or further notice
Event Participation and Conduct
Participation in IRIS events is subject to event-specific rules, schedules, and guidelines, which must be adhered to at all times. IRIS reserves the right to modify event formats, timings, venues, or content due to unforeseen circumstances or operational requirements.
Failure to comply with event rules, misuse of resources, or violation of intellectual property rights may result in disqualification or suspension from participation.
Intellectual Property
All content available on the IRIS platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, software, event materials, designs, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of IRIS or its respective licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the content solely for personal and non-commercial purposes related to participation in IRIS events.
Any reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, or unauthorized use of IRIS content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. Participants retain ownership of any original work submitted during events; however, IRIS reserves the right to use such submissions for promotional, archival, or educational purposes unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Website Use
Users agree to use the IRIS website and services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict or inhibit the use of the platform by any third party. Unauthorized attempts to access restricted areas, disrupt services, introduce malicious software, or interfere with website functionality are strictly prohibited.
IRIS reserves the right to monitor website usage to ensure compliance with these Terms and may take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of access, in cases of misuse or security concerns.
Media Consent
By participating in IRIS events, workshops, or activities, users grant IRIS the irrevocable right to record, photograph, or capture their participation in audio, video, or photographic form. Such media may be used by IRIS for promotional, marketing, documentation, educational, or archival purposes across digital and print platforms, including but not limited to websites, social media, and promotional materials.
Participants acknowledge that no compensation shall be provided for the use of such media and waive any claims related to rights of publicity, privacy, or ownership arising from its use.
Limitation of Liability
IRIS shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in any event, use of the platform, or reliance on information provided through the Services. Participation is entirely voluntary and at the user’s own risk.
Changes to Terms
IRIS reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being posted on the website. Continued use of the IRIS platform or participation in events following such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates or changes.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of IRIS services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
